A very thoughtful and balanced view on that state of affairs facing our nation today. Greg uses humor to punctuate his opinion which helps to punctuate his position. The views expressed come from a real concern on the issues we are faced with today in our nation with a douse of optimism should common sense prevail. I would highly recommend this book no matter your political views.

In typical Houser fashion, a riveting account of truism but abridged with his sarcastic humor about real events we are encountering in today’s confusing times. The short game ….confusing times, the long game with rationale practically we can pull through.

Houser covers important issues in these challenging times. Rational, and well-backed by data (how the hell does he track them?), Houser’s perspectives are apolitical, for the most part, and thoughtfully offered. I was particularly engaged by missives on the whole gun issues, corporate shenanigans; board blindness and malfeasance; and wealth imbalances. Houser tends to sesquipedalianism, but who can’t use a broader vocabulary?

All-in-all an engaging read that will teach you quite a bit. Read these essays!
